Pride Celebration

Students and staff at Harris Academy Battersea had a truly fabulous end to Pride Month when they celebrated with the second edition of the HABS Pride Party, the first of which was launched last year. Activities included: a fun and empowering playlist, providing pride anthems and songs to dance along to; pizza, snacks and sweet treats; t-short decorating and bracelet-making; and a ‘Find the Flag’ quiz! 

The event saw a strong turnout not only from our current Year 7-12s, but also some returning Year 11s and 13s who just couldn’t stay away! The celebration of our school stance ‘Pride is for everyone’ was an amazing opportunity for all our communities to come together and we look forward to future celebrations.
