HABS Girls Basketball team Dominates in the last game of this year.

In a thrilling season finale, our Girls Basketball team wrapped up 2024 with an impressive victory against St. Gabriel's College yesterday. The Year 11 girls were the stars of the show, but it was the inclusion of a few talented Year 9 players that really made the team a stand out.

These younger players, who have been putting in a lot of hard work throughout the season, showcased their skills on the court, earning praise from teammates and coaches alike. What made the performance even more special was the support the older girls showed them. The camaraderie and encouragement were truly heart-warming, creating a positive and motivating atmosphere for everyone involved.

The final score was a dominant 74-14, with the Year 11's putting on an impressive display of skill and teamwork. Their experience was evident as they controlled the game from start to finish, but it was the way they uplifted their younger teammates that made the victory even sweeter.

It’s clear that this basketball family has a bright future ahead, with not only seasoned players but also the next generation stepping up to the challenge. A fantastic way to end the year!
