Year 9 Start Three-Year Harris Experience Programme

Our new cohort of Year 9 students started their Harris Experience journey earlier this month with a welcome ceremony hosted by Harris City Academy Crystal Palace.

The Harris Experience is a three-year cultural and academic enhancement programme for our most able students from Year 9 to Year 11. During that time, we aim to broaden their cultural and academic experiences, to give them outstanding preparation for some of the country’s top university destinations, including Oxford and Cambridge.

Harris Experience cohort

Students are exposed to a wealth of high-end cultural experiences, ranging from world class art auctioneering with Christie’s Auctioneers to a trip to the Royal Opera House; from a day of Science in Action at Imperial College London, to a bespoke day of lectures at Oxford University.
