US Embassy Staff Teach Students about Black History
A big thank you to the US Embassy for arranging a Black History Month speed learning event, at which students learned about key black figures in US history, including Nina Simone, Malcolm X, Mae Jemison, and Maya Angelou.
Students could walk around the embassy and meet different member of embassy staff, who each talked to them about a particular person and answered students' questions too.
"We absolutely loved meeting you all and were so impressed by how attentive, well-behaved and eloquent your students were," said Sarah Thacker, Public Affairs, U.S. Embassy.
