Harris Experience Year 10 STEM Day at Imperial College

Year 10 Harris Experience students went to Imperial College for a STEM day (Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths) in June.

Students were able to attend talks on what it is like to study Science at A Level and university, as well as the different careers that are available to STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Maths) graduates.

They learnt what A Level choices to make if they want to study science at university, the skills required, university life and the array of degrees on offer, such as Earth Sciences.

The students were also given a tour of the campus by a former Harris Battersea student who now studies at Imperial College. The students were inspired by her and, who knows, will perhaps follow in her footsteps in years to come!
