Our Y9 Debate Mate Club achieved fantastic success in their Pitch Project. They showed a fantastic growth in confidence, and presented with clarity and composure, sharing a range of thoughtful ideas. Weekly 'Focus Statement' - 5th October 2020

I will understand my emotions and work hard to manage them effectively.

Each week we have a 'focus statement' that the students see every lesson that week. Each one is associated with our academy's vision and values and is a useful focal point for the week. 

We'll be discussing these statements in school and invite parents and carers to discuss them with their children too, and ask what they mean to them. We'll be adding the new focus statement here each week!
